We will continue to see patients for the time being. As circumstances change we will react accordingly.
For the safety of our patients we are currently turning away any patients presenting symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath or coughing. We test all entering patients for fever. If you have any symptoms, please call and cancel to avoid a fine.
For any patient friends and family that wish to accompany their loved one: if you are not a caretaker critical to a patient’s daily function, we will ask you to stay in your car and only allow the patient into the premises.
All personnel allowed entry will first sign in, and then be asked to wait in their cars and not the waiting room, as an extra precaution. Someone will go out to the parking lot to bring the patient in when it is their turn.
Please stay safe. You can check the official GA department of health’s website for the latest news here: dph.georgia.gov.
We also ask and advise all patients to wear a mask or facial covering. You can see the doctor’s letter regarding the matter here:
Letter from KAMA to Federal Government.
